Droppin a new logo for Mobit’s Digital

This is what I came up with for our 1st logo for Mobit’s Digital, mobitsdigital.com. I used photoshop to create what’s called a “raster graphic”, a pixel based image. Next I’ll create a “vector graphic” in Illustrator or CorelDraw so that my logo can be scaled for large print. I am not officially trained in digital graphics but it’s completely doable and you can do it too! Professional software to create logos can be as cheap as free, Gimp for raster graphics and Inkscape for vector graphics. I am planning to do tutorials on this type of work because ALL independent’s, composers, producers, etc. operating on a small budget have to market themselves by any means and branding is part of that. So keep your eye out for those tuts here. I have been using a guerilla style of marketing for myself for many, many years.
